Born in 2004, KASK is a relatively young

HOW CAN I CHECK THE SAFETY CONDITION OF MY HELMET?
GREAT BRITAIN* ✓ ✓ Check your helmet regularly from cracks, deformation, flaking and colour changes. These are all indicating
that your helmet could be deteriorated. Regular inspection is therefore recommended as the helmet’s
protective capacity diminishes over time due to ageing of the materials.

SHOULD I REPLACE THE HELMET AFTER A COLLISION?

CANADA ✓ KASK offers a guarantee in the event of an accidental breakage, so after a violent impact, even if no
damage is visible, it is recommended that you replace your helmet. It is important to know that its ability
to absorb further impacts may be compromised.

The choice of helmet depends on its technical characteristics and the performance it provides, as well as
its comfort and design.
Tips for choosing a helmet:
*Both standards are required 1. First of all, wear the helmet for a few minutes to check whether it fits properly or whether it causes
discomfort somewhere on your head.
2. After putting it on, try to simulate some movements to check its comfort.
3. Once fastened, the helmet should feel comfortable without moving.

5. Always check the safety and comfort of the helmet to help you choose the best one!

 CONFIGURATOR CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Proper care and maintenance of KASK helmets are very important in providing the intended protection to riders.

STORAGE
When not in use, it is preferable to store the helmet protected from direct sunlight and away from heat sources; we
recommend storing the helmet in its original packaging. Do not apply adhesives, solvents, self-adhesive labels, and
paints that do not comply with the manufacturer’s specifications. Any intervention or modification not provided by
the manufacturer may affect the protective function of the helmet.

CLEANING
OUTER SHELL
Clean the helmet using only water, mild soap and a soft, clean cloth, allowing it to dry naturally at room temperature.
Alternatively, use the KASK Cleaning Kit which is sold separately.
Absolutely avoid the use of chemical cleaners and solvents.

INNER SHELL
The inner padding can be removed and washed by hand in cold water or in a washing machine (max. 30°C).
Any contact with corrosive or aggressive substances should be avoided, as well as the use of chemical cleaners and
solvents.
You can also refresh your inner padding using the KASK Cleaning Kit, which is sold separately.

MARKINGS/LABELLING
The information contained on the inside of the helmet, printed on the label under the padding, should not be
removed for any reason. The helmet size in cm | inches is printed directly on the helmet padding.

The KASK Configurator brings your dream helmet to life!
Now you can select and customise every component of your helmet, from the colour and texture of the outer shell
to the rivet on the chinstrap. Do not forget the possibility of colouring the frame and logo or customising the grids
with crystals.
LIFE TIME
The useful life of the helmet depends on the occurrence of different degenerative factors, including changes in
temperature, exposure to direct sunlight, and frequency of use. The helmet must be checked periodically and in
any case before each use, to detect the presence of damage such as cracks, detachment, deformation or peeling
revealing deterioration of the helmet. Elements that have suffered significant impacts must be replaced even if
they do not display obvious signs of damage. In any case, it is advisable to replace the helmet 10 years after the
production date, because protection decreases with time due to the ageing of materials. The production date is
reported on the inside of the helmet.

With over 1000 possible combinations, customising helmets has never been easier. Match the colours of your team,
your jacket, your saddle or represent your country.
The customer is given the opportunity to store information and images of the helmet made by configurator by
saving in pdf, sharing on social media or printing the document.

HELMET REPLACEMENT
KASK strictly recommends to change the helmet in case of impact. It is therefore important that replacement of
the helmet is required if it has been subjected to a severe impact regardless of the service life and whether there is
any physical damage to the helmet or not, since the design strength and effectiveness have been greatly reduced.

Claims: All claims for quantity discrepancies, damages or lost shipments are the responsibility of the Dealer. Claims
for shortages will not be accepted unless made within three days of receipt of goods.
Returns: Returned goods are eligible for replacement only (no refunds). All returns must be accompanied by a

Warranty: Two Years Warranty against defects in materials and manufacturing.

The quality standards in this policy must be complied with when selling KASK products online.
KASK reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to cease supply in the event that the quality standards are no
longer met by the distributor and/or by any third party authorized by the distributor and KASK Spa.
LOOK AND FEEL
In order to preserve and promote the KASK brand online, whenever you sell KASK products online:
• You must use the product names and colors designated by KASK to describe KASK Products.
• Except with the prior written approval of KASK, you may only use images of KASK Products provided by KASK.
The price displayed for each KASK product (and included in any metadata or other data analyzed by search
engines) must be up to date and include VAT or other equivalent local sales taxes.
• You must categorize or otherwise tag KASK products in such a way that the KASK products sold on the website

You must at all times continue to have a physical retail outlet for consumers to attend in person.
THIRD PARTY WEBSITES
KASK products must only be sold via a dedicated page on your website.
You are not permitted to sell any KASK product via a third party website or platform carrying its own branding,

ONLINE MARKETING ACTIVITIES
You may not establish a domain name using the terms “KASK” or any other trade mark owned by KASK without our
prior consent.
CONSUMER SAFETY & SATISFACTION
Consumer safety is a top priority for KASK, together with ensuring that consumers have the optimal experience
in purchasing and using a KASK helmet. In order to ensure consumer safety and maximise consumer satisfaction,
KASK believes that every KASK helmet should be fitted to a consumer on a one-to-one basis between a properly
trained advisor and a specific consumer.
So that online consumers can experience the same level of service as in-store consumers, we suggest you to display
a notice prior to the completion of the transaction recommending that the consumer collect the helmet in-store so
that it can be properly checked and fitted.

CRASH REPLACEMENT POLICY
KASK believes in safety first. If you happen to have an accident while horseback riding, it is extremely important that
you replace your helmet although it may still look intact.
KASK offers a 30% discount on the purchase of a new KASK Equestrian Helmet for up to 12 months from the
purchase date and 20% discount up to 24 months from purchase date. The rider must return the helmet worn when
the accident occured along with KASK’s Crash Replacement Form and a proof of purchase. All returns must be
accompanied by a Return Authorisation Form and a Return authorisation number.

KASK wants to ensure your complete satisfaction. To better support you in handling your return request, we kindly
ask you to read carefully the information below.

KASK guarantee excludes:
For all returns to KASK, a Return Authorisation number must first be created. Please send an email to the address:
eq.orders@kask.com asking for the KASK Return Authorisation form and send it back to the same email adress

• All damages not related to manufacturing or materials default;
It is necessary to provide pictures of the faulty products and their internal labels. This will help our quality department

SENDING US YOUR RETURN

Pack the goods carefully using the original packaging if possible. Please include this return form in the parcel. All
