alınmayan pek çok önemli yönetmen ve film vardır. Ne yönetmenlerin ne de filmlerin sırası bir hiyerarşiye
tabiidir. Liste tamamen, çeşitli nedenlerle (konu, kaynak metin, oyunculuk, dramatik çatı vs.) tiyatrocuları
ilgilendiren/ilgilendirebilecek filmlerin derlenmesi çabasının sonucudur. Seçimlerin büyük kısmının ana damar
