lower (L5) para-spinal level, s/o coin foreign body (history of coin swallowing).
X-RAY ABDOMEN FRONTAL VIEW (1 VIEW)
CHIEF COMPLAINT: Swallowed coin.
TECHNIQUE: Erect AP view.
OBSERVATIONS:
Rounded dense radiopacity / foreign body of about 2.4 cm diameter seen at
left upper (L2) para-spinal level (possibly within the stomach), s/o coin foreign body (history of coin swallowing). No significant air-fluid levels seen. No free gas under either domes of the diaphragm. Normal alignment and mineral density of lumbar vertebrae noted. Both SI Joints shows no significant abnormality. Advised clinopathological correlation and further investigations / Follow up X-Ray if clinically indicated.
