RINGS OF TREES
A new Fyvria Thesis on how to grow trees into living structures. There
are a few copies being circulated amongst members of the Arcane Guild
The author, Yessev Galerbor Oradhe, is an Aenarin (half-Sindarin) born to a
human mother and a Sindarin father on the island of Domi. The tome is a
detailed instruction manual on the construction of natural buildings by
adjusting the growth patterns of trees. Yessev rejected the older, more
traditional method espoused by Bognor which involved using of one huge
Oak with a single trunk. The book is highly detailed in the use of the Fyvria
spells “Figure of Aestras” and “Verdant Hand” and emphasizes visualizing
the finished structure and suggest modelling the project before beginning.

Written on the finest vellum and richly illustrated, this edition was gifted Script: Selenian
to five Fyvria mentors in the Shava Forest in 710 as thanks for their Street Value: 20d
patience and instruction over the years. Only seven of these handwritten Copy Cost: 360d
illuminated manuscripts were produced; although one may be able to Copies: 7+
arrange with one of the holders for additional copies. Five reside with the Location: 5 Shava Forest
Sindarin Fyvria Virana; one copy is either in Yessev’s tree home on one of 1 GoAL - Aleath
the islands in Lake Beneath, or his home on Domi; and the last copy resides
in the library of the Guild of Arcane Lore in Aleath.

As a bilingual half-kin, Yessev also wrote a Harnic version with the intent Author: Yessev Galerbor Oradhe
of using it as a teaching guide for his future apprentices. The edition is a Year: 712
folio type book: wood cover with bronze clamps to hold the pages in place. Medium: Vellum /Leather
This way an apprentice can remove one page and copy it to put in the Pages: 80

Since the edition was to be a primer to educate apprentices, two Street Value: 6d
chapters were added: one on the basics of tending and growing trees and Print Cost: 450d
the second on moral behaviour according to Siemist theology, emphasizing Copies: 4+

1 GoAL - Shiran
Originally three copies were made; one was given to a colleague in the
Guild of Arcane Lore in Shiran, one is used by Yessev’s current apprentice
for the purposes of making copies, the third is Yessev’s teaching copy. A
fourth copy was made by Yessev’s first apprentice, Kalin. Spells:
