Good morning/afternoon everyone, and thank you for joining me today. My name is Ari
muhammad fazrin and I’m here to talk to you about . Efficacy of Herbal Medicine in Treating
Female Infertility and Post-Stroke Insomnia: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis.

I’m excited to share my knowledge and insights on this subject with you, and I hope you’ll find
the information valuable.Betel Leaf: A Natural Treasure with Medicinal and Economic
Significance

Infertility affects one in six couples worldwide, with 50% of cases attributed to female disorders.
Many women turn to complementary and alternative treatments, though the safety and efficacy
of these methods remain inconclusive. This study systematically reviews the efficacy of
medicinal plants in treating infertility among women of reproductive age, following the PRISMA
2020 guidelines. The review includes studies published between 2000 and 2021, sourced from
PubMed, ScienceDirect, Wiley Online Library, and Cochrane databases. The quality of studies
was assessed using the National Institutes of Health (NIH) criteria for controlled intervention
studies, and the risk of bias was evaluated using the Cochrane Risk of Bias Assessment Tool.
From 5,817 identified publications, 322 full-text articles were screened, leading to 8 studies
being eligible for analysis. The findings indicate that herbal treatments can improve pregnancy
rates, enhance oocyte and embryo quality, follicular development, ovulation, clinical pregnancy
rates, blood circulation, clinical symptoms, live birth rates, and endometrial receptivity. Herbal
medicine is shown to be effective in treating female infertility with minimal side effects.
Post-Stroke Insomnia: Efficacy of Traditional East Asian Herbal Medicine

Post-stroke insomnia (PSI) is a prevalent complication following a stroke, with limited and
potentially harmful psychotropic drug treatments available. Traditional East Asian herbal
medicine (HM) is a common alternative for treating insomnia. This meta-analysis evaluates the
efficacy and safety of HM for PSI. A comprehensive search of 15 databases identified 24
randomized controlled trials (RCTs) with 1,942 participants. The outcomes measured were the
Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index and total effective rate. HM demonstrated significant
improvements in sleep quality and appeared safer than psychotropic drugs, except when the
treatment duration was two weeks. However, the RCTs had poor methodological quality, with
evidence graded as "low" or "moderate." While HM shows potential benefits as a monotherapy
for PSI, well-designed RCTs are needed to confirm these findings.

Conclusion:

Herbal medicine shows promise in improving female infertility and treating post-stroke insomnia
with fewer side effects than conventional treatments. However, further high-quality research is
required to confirm these findings and establish clinical guidelines.

That's everything I wanted to say about my presentation for today."sorry if there are mistakes
