INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL (IQAC)

ANNUAL REPORT – 2023

1. Monthly Meetings of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell were held at the Board
room of the Faculty of Management Studies & Commerce, University of Jaffna.
a. 41st IQAC Meeting was held on 18.01.2023
b. 42nd IQAC Meeting was held on 19.04.2023
c. 43rd IQAC Meeting was held on 22.06.2023
d. 44th IQAC Meeting was held on 25.08.2023
e. 45th IQAC Meeting was held on 03.10.2023
f. 46th IQAC Meeting was held on 09.11.2023
g. 47th IQAC Meeting was held on 15.12.2023

2. Chairmen/ Chairpersons/Coordinators of sub-committees/cells of the faculty have

been invited to the IQAC meeting to report their progress at every IQAC
meetings.

3. Website of IQAC has been updated with latest news and information.

4. IQAC offers complete assistance to SER teams and those in charge of gathering
evidences.

5. As per the decision to invite IQAC
Coordinators from other faculties to share
their best practices, Dr.B.Janarthanan,
Senior Lecturer, Department of Civil
Engineering, Faculty of Engineering,
University of Jaffna has been invited to
deliver a speech on the Internal Quality
Assurance practices followed at their
Department level on 18th of January 2023.

6. The Internal Quality Assurance Cell visit for

all departments in the Faculty of Management
Studies and Commerce, University of Jaffna
was held on 12th, 13th & 17th of July, 2023.
Dr.(Mrs).S.Vaikunthavasan(IQAC
Coordinator), Prof.P.Pratheepkanth,
Mrs.T.Sivaskaran, Mrs.T. Pratheesh & Mrs.S.
Dineshkumar who are the Members of IQAC
visited to all departments. In this visit, the
members checked the list of documents which are related to the scorecard,
IQAC- Strategic plan & Action Plan and Implementation Report of Action Plan -
Institutional review.

7. IQAC has been collecting and uploading the evidences for the CQA Annual
Progress Review of Action Plan – Institutional Review for the year 2019 to 2023.

8. IQAC has been collecting and uploading the evidences for the ICQA Action Plan
for the year of 2022.

9. IQAC has been collecting and uploading the evidences for the Scorecard
