Position: Data Engineer 1 (Multiple Positions)

Job Duties:

• Lead the architectural design and implementation of data solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-
driven solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior data engineers, offering technical expertise and best practices.
• Develop and maintain complex SQL databases, data warehouses, and LookML projects.
• Visualize data effectively in Looker dashboards for stakeholders.
• Oversee data ingestion processes to ensure data is loaded accurately and on time.
• Proactively identify areas for improvement within the data ecosystem and implement solutions.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience

• Proficiency in testing, maintaining, and validating data to ensure data integrity and reliability;
• In-depth knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS) with expertise in
MySQL/MariaDB and data warehousing solutions like Google BigQuery.
• Familiarity with various ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools and their application in data
integration processes.
• Experience with data engineering platform Apache Airflow.
• Proficient in utilizing 3rd party data sources and integrating them into the existing data ecosystem.
• Strong programming skills in Python for data manipulation, automation, and analysis.
• Proven experience in creating and managing data pipelines and workflows.
• Proactive and self-driven with a willingness to take initiative and lead data projects.
