SPECIAL POWER OF ATTORNEY

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

That we, NENITA ESPIRITU ESPIRITU, Canadian citizen, Filipino national, of legal
age, with address at #1402-20 Mississauga Valley Boulevard, Mississauga, ON,
L5A 3S1, Canada, and AURORA ESPIRITU CHAVEZ, Filipino national, of legal
age, with address at #1402-20 Mississauga Valley Boulevard, Mississauga, ON,
L5A 3S1, Canada, do hereby appoint, name and constitute our sister, EMETERIA
ESPIRITU VALENZUELA, Filipino, of legal age, married, with address at 909 Leon
Allanique Street, Barangay Village, Sucat, Paranaque City, to be our true and lawful
attorney to act in, manage and conduct all my affairs, and for that purpose in my
name and in my behalf to do and execute all of any of the following acts, deeds and
things, to wit:

That she is authorized to file cases and make representation in our behalf in any
courts of law or any quasi-judicial or administrative bodies, or any government
agencies, sign all papers and documents, demand and receive any papers so that
our interests will be preserved, particularly with respect to our properties covered
under Transfer Certificate of Title Numbers S-87385 and S-87386, issued by the
Register of Deeds of Paranaque City. For this purpose, she is authorized to engage
the services of counsel upon such terms and conditions she may deem proper, to
carry out the above purposes;

To attend in the pre-trial of cases of which we are a party of, and to enter into an
amicable settlement, if allowed and to submit the case to alternative modes of
dispute resolution and participate and sign and enter into settlement. Also, she is
authorized in the various concerns involved in the pre-trial as follows:

(a) The simplification of the issues;


(b) The necessity or desirability of amendments to the pleadings;
(c) The possibility of obtaining stipulations or admissions of facts and of
documents to avoid unnecessary proof;
(d) The limitation of the number of witnesses;
(e) The advisability of a preliminary reference of issues to a commissioner;
(f) The propriety of rendering judgment on the pleadings, or summary
judgment, or of dismissing the action should a valid ground therefor be
found to exist;
(g) The advisability or necessity of suspending the proceedings; and
(h) Such other matters as may aid in the prompt disposition of the action.

That she is authorized to enter into stipulations or admissions of facts and of


documents during pre-trial, and in all phases or stages of a trial, as the Rules of
Court may provide and warrant in all cases that will be filed by my attorney-in-fact.

Our attorney-in fact hereby accepts this appointment subject to its terms and agrees
to act and perform in said fiduciary capacity consistent with our best interests as her
best discretion deems advisable, and we affirm and ratify all acts so undertaken.

That she is given the authority of substitution wherein they may authorize another
person to act in their behalf as our attorney-in-fact.

GIVING AND GRANTING unto said attorney-in-fact full power and authority to do
and perform all and every act and thing whatsoever requisite and necessary to be
done in and about the premises, hereby ratifying and confirming all that said
attorney-in-fact shall lawfully do or cause to be done by virtue of these presents.

This power of attorney may be revoked by us at any time, and shall be automatically
revoked upon our death, provided that any person relying on my power of attorney
before or after death shall be given full rights to accept the authority of my attorney-
in-fact until in receipt of actual notice of revocation.
