SYMPTOM When select the Bluetooth source, "Error-02" is displayed and the Bluetooth feature is not available.

CAUSE Software problem.

SERVICE
Replace a new BT module. (When Error-02 appears, the BT module is damaged)
REMEDY

-MEASURE

When use the current parts (CWX4529), must update the Bluetooth version to 03.41.11.
Refer to page 3 for details.

I. Version Confirmation
1. Refer to the Service Manual for how to enter the TEST MODE.
2. Upgrade the Bluetooth version if it is less than 03.41.11

II. Preparation
1. Download the firmware ME_QC16020.zip from PSN web site (Niis) and unzip it.
2. CheckSum
- Double click "CheckMd5.bat", then following screen will show up.

- CheckSum starts after pressing any key and will finish within 1 minute.
- If "OK" is displayed of all items as shown below, the software is OK.

- If "WARNING" is displayed as shown below, the software is NG. please Download & CheckSum again.

After CheckSum is OK, copy the [AVIC5000NEX] folder and TESTMODE_A.KEY on to a blank USB memory.

III. Update procedure
1. Connect the USB to the upper side USB port as shown below. Turn on the power

2. After the TEST mode is appeared, select "10. Write Bluetooth" and push the "HOME" key.

3. Push "TRK >>" key for moving the cursor to "2.USB". Confirm USB1 version is 03.41.11.
Then press "HOME" key to start the update. Following screen is displayed. *Update takes about 2 minutes.

4. After the update is finished, "Update Completed..." appears, remove the USB, push "HOME" key to restart the unit.

5. Referring to page 3 "I. Version Confirmation" confirm the Bluetooth version becomes the modified one.
6. Turn OFF and turn ON the Acc, following screen appears. Do not touch the touch panel and any key !

7. Turn OFF the ACC only and must wait for more than 35 seconds for the termination processing,
then turn OFF the BUP.
