Dear Sir/Madam,
I/We wish to avail Hold Mail service provided by your bank. I / We agree to be bound by the
terms and conditions applicable on this service as sated below:-
I / We request this service from the Bank and agree that the bank will hold all mail; addressed
to me/us for a maximum period of 3 months from receipt and such mail will be deemed to have
been received by me/ us. I / we will collect any mail so held, personally or through an
authorized person, unless I / we advise the Bank to the contrary in writing. The Bank is
authorized to charge a fee as per the Bank’s schedule of Charges revised from time to time for
this service and to hold, open and / or handle all such mail in a manner as the Bank deems fit.
Any such charges by the Bank may be debited by the Bank from my/ our account. If I / we fail
to collect any such mail within a period of 3 months, the bank is authorized to destroy the same
at any time thereafter at my / our account. If I / we fail to collect any such mail within a period
of 3 months, the Bank is authorized to destroy the same at any time thereafter at my / our sole
risk and responsibility, and in doing so the Bank shall be discharged from all responsibility or
liability.
My / our ignorance of the contents of any mail being held by the bank is not and will not be a
defense to the Bank’s claims against me / us for all purposes and in all courts of law whether
during or after termination of my / our banking relationship with the AlBaraka Bank ( Pakistan)
