The Private Sector Vaccine Deployment
Program is initiated by the OPAV, IATF-Visayas and DOH7, through the Project Balik Buhay public-private partnership to help and support the government in achieving a safe, fast and successful deployment of the national vaccination program in Cebu and the Visayas.

www.projectbalikbuhay.com and provide Company Information to generate his/her user name and password to monitor batch approvals and vaccination schedules.
How will I know if my employees are qualified and the schedule of vaccination?
The PPB will forward your company
documents to DOH for approval. Once approved by DOH, PBB will assign a Vaccination Center and vaccination schedule based on order of Priority list. The company HR will receive an email of their company’s batch approval, assigned Vaccination Center and vaccination schedule and will be reminded thereof 3 days before the vaccination date.
The IATF National Priority List for COVID-19 Vaccination is:
A1: Frontline workers in health facilities B1: Teachers, Social Workers both national and local, private and public, health professionals and B2: Other Government Workers non-professionals like students, nursing aides, janitors, barangay health B3: Other essential workers workers, etc. B4: Socio-demographic groups at A2: Senior citizens aged 60 years old significantly higher risk other than and above senior citizens and indigenous people
A3: Persons with comorbidities not B5: Overseas Filipino Workers
otherwise included in the preceding categories B6: Other Remaining Workforce
A4: Frontline personnel in essential
sectors including uniformed personnel C: Rest of the Filipino population not and those in working sectors identified otherwise included in the above by the IATF as essential during ECQ groups
How much is the cost of the vaccine and its administration?
The vaccine and administration is free
since it is part of the Government’s National vaccination program. The only cost that will be borne by the employer/employee is the transportation to/from the vaccination center.
Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) are considered safe and effective based on the available evidence to date (DOH FAQs on Vaccine).

The possible side effects of a vaccine include pain,
redness, itchiness or swelling at the injection site (which may last a few hours); fever; feeling of weakness or fatigue; headache; dizziness; diarrhea; or nausea.
Hence, there is a vaccination pharmacovigilance
protocol that includes (1) monitoring for 60 minutes of any side effects immediately after inoculation at the adverse monitoring area and (2) reporting to the HR within 2 days after the vaccination notwithstanding the need to consult the nearest healthcare professional if you experience any of these (DOH FAQs on Vaccine).
Can an employer be held liable if a worker has an adverse reaction to the vaccine?
If the Employer has submitted a duly
signed and certified Statement of Management Responsibility to the PBB, then the Employer cannot be held liable for any adverse reaction to the vaccine.
