“A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE EMERGENCY PURCHASE OF NECESSARRY PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT MEDICAL

DEVICES, SUPPLIES AND GOODS TO CONTAIN THE OUTBREAK OF COVID- 19 OF BARANGAY BARAS, TACURONG
CITY”

WHEREAS, presented to the body the needs to purchase emergency protective equipment and Medical Devices and
supplies for the control of outbreak of COVID-19 of Barangay Baras, Tacurong City, per Proclamations No. 929 declaring State
of Calamity throughout the Philippines by His Excellency RODRIGO R. DUTERTE.

WHEREAS, SECTION 3 PROCLAMATION NO.929 State that all Government agencies and LGUs are enjoined to
render full assistance to and cooperation with each other and mobilized the necessary resources to undertake critical, urgent,
and appropriate disaster response aid and measures in a timely manner to curtail and eliminate the threat of COVID- 19.

WHEREAS, such declaration will among others, afford the National Government, as well as LGU’s, ample latitude to
utilize appropriate funds ,including the Quick Response Fund, in their disaster preparedness and response efforts to contain the
spread of COVID-19 and to provide basic services to the affected population.

WHEREAS, the City of Tacurong and its component Barangay observe and response on the nationwide call for the
control of spreading and outbreak of Corona Virus 2019.

WHEREAS, upon thorough discussion of the issue and on motion of Kagawad Roger P. Garcia duly seconded by the
body be it.

RESOLVED as hereby RESOLVED to approve the Emergency Purchase of Necessary Protective Equipment, Medical
Devices, Supplies and Goods to contain the outbreak of COVID-19 of Barangay Baras, Tacurong City.

RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish copies to concern agencies for compliance and guidance.
