LETTER OF PROTEST: HYDROGEN SULPHIDE IN CARGO

Dear Sir,

This is to notify you that MSDS provided by your terminal to my vessel, which has no
explicit information on the levels of H2S present in the below mentioned cargoes
loaded at this terminal.
However, after gas sampling by ship’s officer, H2S in all tanks were found as follows
(PPM):
RUSSIAN EXPORT BLEND CRUDE OIL

Please refer to the H2S readings in the cargo tanks prior arrival.

I hereby give notice that you will be held liable to indemnify the owners and
charterers interest for any loss that any of these parties may suffer by reason of this
protest.
