Practice Questions for Iowa Assessments and ITBS®

1st Grade
Math - Set 3 - 25 Questions

The practice questions below cover basic math concepts that children learn in
first grade. These questions were designed to support readiness for Iowa
Assessments and ITBS, along with other achievement tests given across the
country. If your child is taking an achievement-type test for first grade, these
practice questions will help prepare him. The questions assess knowledge of
material covered in tests such as the Standardized Testing and Reporting Test
(STaR), Comprehensive Achievement Tests (CAT), Stanford Achievement Test
(SAT), Assessment of Skills and Knowledge (ASK), Assessment of Knowledge and
Skills (AKS), and more. Please check with us regarding any achievement test your
child is taking to determine whether or not these questions will be applicable.

Parents: If your child is not yet reading, please read these questions to your child
and circle the answer they give. If your child is already reading, allow him to read
the questions and circle the best answer. Answers are at the end.
