Not only is Al-Ghabry a renowned
photographer & a Yemeni icon, he is also one
of the founders of the Yemeni Journalists
Syndicate, a member of the Arab Journalists
Union, & a member of the World Journalists
Organization. He was appointed as an
advisor to the Ministry of Culture for Visual
Arts as an honorary position in 2015.
Moreover, he served as a director of the
Military Theater in 1976 & participated in a
number of documentaries as a director,
cinematographer & photographer.
