CIRCULAR
Updates on Claim Bill Submission (Synopsis Meeting / Viva Voce Exam)

Based on the requests received from research supervisors and scholars, with regard to
the Claim Bill Submissions for Synopsis Meeting / Viva Voce Examination for the member of
the Doctoral Committee / Viva Voce Examiners, the following updates are made:

 The Declaration Form (given along with the Doctoral Committee Remuneration form
in the Claim section of the supervisor login) should also be duly filled if the scholar or
supervisor has incurred the travel and accommodation expenses for the Synopsis
Meeting or Viva Voce Exam.
 The Account Details of the scholar / supervisor needs to be entered correctly
(depending on whoever has incurred the expenses). The same information has to be
filled by the scholars in the Account Particulars section.
 If the Member / Examiner have incurred the travelling expenses, the account details of
the respective member / examiners can be given.
 With respect to the other Doctoral Committee meetings (including synopsis / Viva Voce
Examination), the Centre for Research shall directly pay the sitting fee to the account
of the members / supervisor as submitted to Centre for Research by the Scholar /
supervisor. Travel expenses for meetings other than for the Synopsis / Viva Voce
Examination shall not be claimed.
 The account details need to be submitted only once in the CFR portal, unless any
change is required.
 Due to certain reasons, if the DC meetings are conducted twice, only one claim form
will be permitted.
 Kindly avoid submitting claim forms with the account details of the Research
Coordinator.
