AEPO is the largest educational radio program making NGO in Afghanistan which
produces famous educational radio drama ( New Home, New Life) and educational
feature programs for adults and children.
AEPO strictly follows the zero-tolerance policy against any kind of child abuse
Job Description:
Responsible for Preparation of monthly end account and reconciliations as required by
Finance office.
To ensure effective financial services and transparent utilization of financial resources.
Ensure that the all-payable taxes are paid on time.
Responsible for annual return report (Income tax) to Ministry of Finance and clearance.
Responsible for reporting to the Ministries as required for reporting and registration of
new projects
Responsible for the preparation of the AEPO Bank required document.
Responsible for the preparation of donor financial report monthly, Quarterly and annually
base on donor requirements.
Responsible for the preparation of staff salary transfer letters and send them to individual
staff bank accounts.
Assist Finance Manager in Preparation of Annual Budget, donors Budget report, cash flow
preparation and Manage staff.
Responsible for the financial Management training to the AEPO staff and partners as
required.
Responsible for dealing with the AEPO partners on the financial issues.
Assist FM to check and approve the staff payroll (FT/PT) Prepared by HR Department.
Responsible for all internal control activities and work process.
Maintenance of accounting software (Quick Book) to make data entry, in line with donor's
budget and report generation.
Responsible to cash count on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Work with donors internal and external auditors for project audits.
Work on year end accounts and audit as required.
Day to day accounting working, such as preparation of vouchers, invoices, making
payments etc.
Regular controlling of payments in lieu of proper supporting document.
Proper coordination with Admin and HR for smooth running of daily operation on daily
basis.
Be responsible for all the duties and responsibilities of Finance Manager in his absence.
Responsible for day-to-day bank transaction with bank cheque withdrawal for office
operating expenses.
Open individual bank account for AEPO staff in bank.
Responsible at the yearend for compilation of inventory list in the specific format.
Any other tasks assign by manager for effective and efficient office operation.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor Degree & Preferred Master degree in finance
