-Thanked everyone for the successful outreach at Esguerra, especially the Catechists

C. Review of last meeting’s minutes (July 2)

1. Preparation for Catechism and feeding at Esguerra. Everything planned and discussed were
executed. The event was well-coordinated: Bro. Piring and Fr. Roni met with representatives of
Esguerra Compound who were very cooperative and supportive.
 2. Recruitment of New Servants. Next week is the formation. Reminder on the submission of
requirements (Baptismal Certificate and/or marriage certificate).
3. Renewal schedule is on the Feast of Christ the King in November.
4. Reminder on submission of Minutes of the Meeting and Financial Reports.
5. San Lorenzo Hall is the designated PPC Hall.
6. Fr. Nat’s vacation but he is currently back already. Fr. Nelson in India so some Pastoral Areas
(PA) have Bible Service led by Seminarians instead of Holy Mass.
7. Steering Committee done last July 23. Support needed requested by Ate Remy everytime there
is a Catechism and other Mass rites
8. Amaris: transfer title for chapel is complete

1. Catechism and Feeding Program
a. Schedule of Pastoral Areas (PA) for the Catechism and Feeding Program in Esguerra
Compound. Please include the Ministries and Religious Organizations under the PA:

b. For the whole month of August, PPC will take care of the Program, with the help of
Duplex Pastoral Area officers

c. Expectations from the PA sponsor/s:

- Assist the Catechists as they instruct the children, checking if the children are
able to follow and ensuring order in distribution of food, etc.
- Number of Children: 79 children came today and it is the first day. Safe to
estimate 100 children.
- Contact person in Esguerra Compound: Sis Jopay, also a Barangay Health
Worker.
- Esguerra mothers will cook. PA in charge may suggest the menu.
 - Can suggest games in coordination with the Catechist
- Program will be fixed within August
- Program starts at 10AM and ends by 11AM
d. Until when? This is a continuous program.
e. This is our first apostolate in response to the call of the Synod. Tayo ang lalapit sa mga
nangangailangan.

2. Activities for the month of August to November 2022

AUGUST 7: Installation of Adorers

13, 20 & 27: Formation of Liturgical Ministers. 27th is Commissioning
Neo catechumenate: TUE & THURS. Fr. Nat is in charge. Details to follow.
SEPTEMBER Season of Creation c/o Bro Ross: Details to follow.
8: Mama Mary’s birthday. Novena Mass at OLSHP to begin on August 30 during
evening Masses, even on Monday (6:30PM). On Sunday, Novena Mass is during the
5:30 PM Mass
15: Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows. Novena Mass to start on Sept. 6 at 7AM at SJWSS
18: Amaris – Feast Our Lady of Mediatrix of Grace
24: Ridgecrest – Feast of San Lorenzo Ruiz
OCTOBER 1: San Miguel 1 – Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary
2: Elisa Homes – Feast of St. Francis of Assisi
7: Feast Day of the Holy Rosary. All are invited to pray the Rosary with their families
and communities for the whole month. Continuous Rosary at the Parish starting at
4AM.
16: Summerhills – Feast of Our Lady of Fatima
30: Parade of Saints. Details for finalization
PARISH YOUTH CONFERENCE – no specific date yet

NOVEMBER 1: All Soul’s Day. Forms for the Soul to be given in 1st week of October during the PPC

- Box at the Parish containing all the intentions
- Month of November dedicated for the Souls until Feast of Christ the King
12: MCRC Recollection
19: General Assembly: half day. Physical presence is required. Venue to be finalized.
Renewal follows at OLSHP. Physical presence.

3. Other Matters/Reminders:
a. Please submit the Financial Reports
b. Please submit Minutes of Meeting of the Pastoral Areas and Ministries and ROs
c. TP4 remittances: please forward to the Parish
 4. Fr. Roni’s Address:
a. Thanked all for participating in the launch of the Catechism and Feeding Program at
Esguerra Compound. We are at the beginning stage and eventually, everything will develop
as we all learn from the experience. We saw God’s provision in today’s event, especially
with the weather.
b. Total expense for the Launch: food for the children and food today is P10,000
c. Amount provided to Sis Jopay is P5,000K. But for budgeting, range is 3,000 to 4,000. If too
much for a PA, one or 2 second collections and call for donations are allowed. The smaller
PA’s may also request funds from the Parish.
d. This is a practical application of synod on synodality.
e. Catechist may request for budget from Parish (c/o Sis Nellie) for transportation fare.
f. PAs may also include the fund raising to be part of the Fiesta activity of the PA. (Initial
recommendation to schedule the sponsorship near the Fiesta was later revoked due to the
many activities and preparation required. Some PA Coordinators suggested to retain the
schedule created).
g. Fr. Roni commended the service of the Catechists.
h. Committees need to be formed for the various activities lined up.

5. Questions raised and resolution:

a. Is there a specific program to be followed for the Catechism of the children?
- Basic Prayers for August. Can be Bible stories. Children can also be grouped as
we move towards instruction of prayers
b. On feeding program, pwede din ba mag sponsor individually?
- For individual sponsorship like for b-day or individual/family sponsorship, please
direct to Pasong Buaya Feeding Program c/o Fr. Jiji.
c. How do we announce for second collection?
- If second collection, PA can craft the announcement. Coordinators can
announce this and include in the message that this is once in 3 months only that
the PS will sponsor. Reminder not to make the announcement too long.
d. Max Village only has once a month Mass, can they already start 2nd collection since their
schedule is in November already?
- Since Max is sharing with Ridgecrest, the 2 should share in the expenses. Max
may also seek individual sponsors, in their particular case.
