Looking back into our field trip where we share our exciting experience at Yomiuri Land,
Tokyo. This year, 2023 we had our recreational field trip on May 24. We went to Yomiuri
Land, one of Tokyo's largest amusement parks that offers cherry blossoms in the spring,
pools in the summer, and illuminations in winter. We could barely contain our excitement as
our school buses and vans pulled into the parking lot. The anticipation of our upcoming field
trip was palpable among the school. We chattered excitedly about all the fun activities we
were going to do and all the new things we were going to learn. We couldn't wait to explore
and discover all that the field trip in Yomiuri Land had to offer. The air around us was
charged with energy and we knew that this was going to be an unforgettable experience. As
soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the thrilling rides and attractions that awaited us. As
we got into the entrance, our eyes caught a sign that had Yomiuri Land engraved in it, we
frantically took pictures of individual classes, as our teachers separated boys and girls into
different groups. From there on we started our adventure.
𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐑𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐬
After walking for a bit, the first thing that was eye-catching was the ‘Looping starship’! we
all breathlessly ran to the waiting line and to our luck, there wasn’t anyone waiting, as we all
were tightly seated, the ride started to begin, it wasn’t all and all scary at first, we were
perfectly calm and then suddenly, without our knowledge it took us upside down, we felt like
we were slipping off the seat, our legs were up in the air, we were screaming out our lungs,
we were wishing for it to stop and when it stopped, we ran for our lives, it was enjoyable but
we were also traumatized, it was one of the ride we all wanted to go on again! After that
traumatizing but exciting ride we went to the towers, The crazy Hyuuu and crazy Stoooon
towers were beyond thrilling, the drops were downright heart-stopping. When it abruptly
took us up in the air, we felt as if we were levitating. It was an exhilarating experience!
Following, we went to the Hashibiro GO ride, this was a totally unexpected ride, and We had
a thrilling experience on the Hashibiro GO ride. It took us up high and plunged us down at
breakneck speed. All of us felt like flying and couldn’t help but, scream! From there on, we
started seeking for more spine-chilling rides and finally, we all saw one that was a stirring
but breathtaking roller coaster, known as ‘Lipovitan Rocket’, this roller coaster left us awe-
struck! The ride’s impressive speed and height created a sense of anticipation that made our
heart race. Upon reaching the top of the ascent, the exhilarating drop induced a rush of
excitement adrenaline that tingled throughout our entire body. The twists and turns of the
ride were so intense that we couldn’t help but express our joy through screams of
excitement!! From there on, we moved to ride the ‘Giant sky river’,
The Giant Sky River is Yomiuri Land's flagship attraction, a water slide that spanned the
length of the park which offered us heart-pounding twists, turns and loops with stunning
views of the entire park. The flight of stairs in the Giant Sky River seemed like an endless
climb, but we were rewarded with a gut twisting rush of sliding down one of the tallest and
most thrilling water slides in the world shooting down to a giant pool with a wave-generating
machine. It was an outstanding experience.
𝐏𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠
Thenceforth we went to sit down and take a break from all the frightening rides, While all
were peacefully gobbling their lunches, a flock of pigeons approached us and started
attacking us, Trying to rob our food, drawing closer to our feet, and irritating us by not
letting us eat calmly. Creating chaos, everyone scattered around the area while screaming.
On the other hand, all others were seated there, staring at us. It was an awkward but funny
experience.
That during the field trip, we were all having so much fun exploring the great outdoors. We
were running around, playing games, and shouting at the top of our lungs that as the day
went on we started to notice that our voice was being hoarse. It wasn’t until later we found
out we had lost our voices completely from all the screaming and shouting we had done!
𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝
We also enjoyed the food and snacks that were available throughout the park. Baskin Robbins
offered exceptional ice-cream with a variety of flavors to choose from. The atmosphere was
lively, and the treats satisfied students who were craving ice cream. We also visited Starbucks,
the vibe was astonishing with the roller coaster sounds and aroma of freshly brewed coffee, the
baristas were friendly, some of the students bought different drinks, but all of them were
delectable!
𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞s
After filling our stomachs we realized that during the field trip, we were all having so much fun
exploring the great outdoors. We were running around, playing games, and shouting at the top of

To sum it up, Yomiuri Land provided a truly enchanting and thrilling experience for our school
on our field trip. From testing our courage on the Giant Sky River to marveling at the displays of
Yomiuri Land, there was never a dull moment. We learned about the history and culture of this
incredible amusement park, enjoyed endless fun and laughter with our classmates, and made
memories that will last a long time. Overall, it was a well-organized and unforgettable
experience that we will forever cherish!
