Greetings in the name of Louisian Leadership!
Dalus is an Ilocano term which means to clean and it is our duty as stewards of the environment to
actively engage in initiatives that contribute to the enhancement of environmental cleanliness. As part of
our commitment to strive for a clean environment, we would like to propose an activity entitled “Project
Dalus” in partnership with the Louisian Men’s Club. The objectives of this activity are as follows:
1. Remove trash and pollutants to maintain a healthy river environment.
2. Clear any plastics to ensure proper water flow and reduce flood risks.
3. Keep River habitats safe by removing harmful waste and preserving biodiversity.
4. Create inviting areas for community members to relax and enjoy along the river.
5. Inspire the community about the importance of river cleanliness and their role in its upkeep.
As part of our commitment in advancing environmental advocacies, the Kabataang Kumakalinga sa
Kalikasan would like to request for your approval to conduct “Project Dalus” which will be held on
January 20, 2024, 7:00am-12:00nn at Sta. Teresita Boulevard, Cataggaman Nuevo.
KKK has been an integral part of the University. The conduct of this event would foster the responsible
management and removal of waste, as well as the cultivation of sustainable practices to ensure the overall
well-being and preservation of our surroundings through the initiative of USL students.
