4. Analysis:

Bloodletting activity conducted in Macalelon aims to collect sufficient

and safe blood supply from blood donors. The variety of collected blood supply
directly goes to the blood banks administrated by the Philippine Red Cross. Blood
donation is a humanitarian act in which it can alleviate the suffering or save the lives
of many patients who are in need of blood through blood transfusion. Through this
activity, donors and volunteers will be acknowledge by their humanitarian support
and will give encouragement to the community to do the same action with the help
and support of the local government of Quezon and the Philippine Red Cross.

5. Assessment:

The continued activity of bloodletting and blood donation will make a

difference in the community of Quezon province. When there is sufficient,
irreplaceable and safe blood supply, public health resources will have the ability to
respond immediately during emergencies. It will be free of cost to the poor. Voluntary
donors played a big part in the success of this program. The commitment of different
government agencies with the dedicated participation of our PA personnel created a
positive outcome supporting the same advocacy of saving lives by means of blood
donation.

6. Recommendations:

a. Established partnership and collaboration with stakeholders in

creating a better and stronger community that promotes and supports humanitarian
services, work together to achieve positive outcomes and feedback from the
community; and

b. Appropriate awards to the involved troops (See attached Task

Organization).
