DIY Felt Gingerbread House

Supplies:
-four colors of felt -button
-sequins -2/3 colors of embroidery oss/thread
-tiny beads -stufng (Poly-Fil/cotton/etc.)
-ribbon -needle
-scissors -round tip tweezers (optional)

Instructions:
1) Cut out the felt using the printed template.
2) Stitch the rooftop onto the house using a whip stitch.
3) Stitch one sequin on each scallop of the roof.
4) Stitch the window to the door using a whip stitch.
5) Stitch the button doorknob through both the door and house
layers of felt. Tie your thread tails securely.
6) Stitch the door to the house using a whip stitch.
7) Begin stitching the garland around the door. It looks like little Y’s
stitched one on top of the other.
8) Attach tiny beads to the garland in random spots.
9) Tie a thin ribbon into a bow, cut the ribbon ends evenly, and
stitch the ribbon to the door with one small tack.
10) Repeat all the steps to create a two-sided ornament.
11) Stitch the two sides together with a blanket stitch. Leave one
side of the house open and begin stufng. Stitch the remaining
opening closed and securely tie a knot when your stitches meet.
Slip the needle into the house and back out in a random spot;
then cut the remaining thread tail. This hides the end of the thread
within the stufng.
12) Slip a pretty bead onto a 10-inch piece of embroidery oss, slip
the needle through the point of the house top, slip the thread
through the bead again, and pull the two ends of the thread
together. Now, tie a knot close to th bead to keep it in place. Tie
another knot near the ends of the thread. This is the hanging loop
for your ornament.
13) Enjoy and make more!
