Ethical responsibility and sustainability, in economic growth and environmental management, are the keys to unlocking the limitless potential of future generations while also building a better foundation for future innovation and development.
This is all achieved today with:
1. Combined Heat Power- A highly efficient, on-site technology that produces both electrical and thermal energy resulting in a nearly 66% increase in energy output and exponentially less Co2 when compared to traditional methods 2. Heat Recovery- Heat produced from the CHP process, generally regarded as a waste or byproduct, is instead reclaimed and cycled through ventilation and filtration systems and can be used to heat different facilities. Doing so in a greenhouse reduces the need for external or separate heating while providing a suitable environment for sustainable growth, further offsetting carbon production. 3. Carbon Capture- Carbon, a byproduct of the energy production process, is captured at the source, compressed, stored, and then reused in various industrial processes like the production of plastics, concrete, graphene, or biofuels. 4. Energy Sales to the Grid- Due to the proximity of Alberta’s power grid and its deregulated nature, excess energy generated can be sold back to the grid operator
