Subject: Bundling of Slipring PCB and Brush Assembly

Affected products: Standard 20 Gyro Compass

Information: Standard 20 was delivered with different Slipring PCBs and Brush Assem-
blies during its life cycle. In addition some Sliprings required special treat-
ment with Cramolin others not.

At present we see all different combinations of treated / untreated Sliprings

and Brush Assemblies in the market.

For this reason we decided to bundle the latest version of Sliprings (Draw-
ing Number 110-222.X03 - but not treated with Cramolin) and Brush
Assembly (Drawing Number: 110-222.X18) to ensure proper function of
Standard 20.

Please note that only this combination ensures reliable data and power
transmission in Standard 20. For this reason we advice to replace Slipring
PCB and Brush Assembly always together.

Important:
The Slipring PCB must not be treated with Cramolin when Brush Assembly
Drawing Number: 110-222.X18 is used.
