PROGRAM OVERVIEW Academic and clinically intense program based in Washington DC at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and MedStar
Georgetown University Hospital. This program is a high volume inpatient and outpatient clinical care and surgical experience.
The resident is exposed to patients with multi-system disease and co-morbidities. The graduates of this program are prepared
to practice in a competitive environment at a high level and in diverse practice settings. The residency experience is enhanced
by the access of MedStar Health which operates 10 hospitals in the metropolitan area and provides ample support for a well
rounded educational experience. The team approach and multidisciplinary interaction are part of every rotation.
