Canva Project on Cultural Diversity

Instructions: This unit the majority of your grade will depend on the project versus a written exam.

Choose a country that is known for its cultural diversity. Research information about the

country's cultural and linguistic diversity, ethnicities, immigration, and religions. Take notes

on the most important information that you find.

Open Canva and choose the video template that you like the most. You can find it under the

"Create a design" section of the homepage.

Add text to introduce the country and its cultural diversity. Use eye-catching fonts and colors

to make it visually appealing.

Create slides to present the different aspects of cultural diversity in the country. Use images,

icons, and graphics to illustrate your points.

Add text to each slide to explain the information you have researched. Use bullet points or

short sentences to make it easy to read.

Use transitions between slides to make your video flow smoothly. You can choose from

different types of transitions in Canva.

Add music to your video to make it more engaging. You can choose from Canva's music

library or upload your own.

Use the "Export" button to save your video. You can choose the file format and quality that

you prefer.

Once you have exported your video, create a title slide that includes the name of the country

you have chosen and your name.

Create an end slide that includes your works cited. Use APA format to cite at least 3 sources

that you have used for your research. Include the author's name, the year of publication, the

title of the article or book, and the name of the publication or website.

Share your video with your teacher or classmates by uploading it to Google Classroom.

Remember to proofread your video and your works cited to make sure everything is correct.
