Important Guidelines for Seminar

Dear Students,
There will be three presentation for this subject throughout the semester. First presentation is
scheduled from 13-02-2023 onwards. Presentation will be conducted during your regular laboratory
only. Whatever comments given by faculty members in presentation must be fulfilled in the next
presentation.

Kindly consider following points while selecting the seminar topic.

1. Individual student have to select the seminar topic and prepare the presentation (Group is not
permitted)
2. Topic should be related to recent advancement in IT.
3. Seminar topic should not be repeated amongst the large number of students.

Kindly consider following points while preparing presentation.

1. Slides should not be directly copied from the internet.
2. Every slide taken from another source (or a large part of it) must have a comment: “This slide is
taken/adapted from ….”.
3. At least 50% of the presentation should be your own work.
4. Try to complete your presentation within 15-20 slides.
5. You can also include small video in your presentation to give more clarity.
6. Don’t include large paragraphs in your presentation. Just highlight the major points with bullets and
explain the same with suitable examples.

At the end of semester, you are supposed to prepare a 15-20 pages technical report related to
your seminar topic including literature survey, pros and cons of that technology, architecture,
future scope etc. detailed report format will shared soon.
