DEAR DEPARTMENT OF STATES

The purpose of this letter is to respectfully request my personal record in order to

understand my situation. In 1998, I was granted a tourist visa. In 2015, I attempted to
apply for a similar visa, but was unfortunately denied without explanation. I was simply
advised to try again.

I would be grateful if you could send me my full record so that I can review it and
hopefully find a solution to my situation. I would also appreciate it if you could provide
me with all the information you have about the visa renewal or application process and
the terms of it. I would like to see if there is anything I can do to have the benefits of
having a tourist visa.

I would like to request a visa again, but I am afraid that my request may be
denied again because I am uncertain about the main reason for the denial. That is why I
am sending this letter to you, in the hope that I can find a solution and move on. I
currently have my residence in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, but it is important for
me to resolve this situation.

Please find attached my ID, which I hope will help to verify the veracity of what I
present here. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for your attention to
this letter and to reassure you that I am available should you have any questions or
require any further documents.

I look forward to your response.

Sincerely,

Yrma Madrigal Guzman
