2. All contractor's personnel must adhere to the highest standards of safety in construction projects including the use of
personal protective equipment, hygiene, health, adoption, and application of the Environmental and Social Management Plan
ESMP provided by FAO.
3. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to ensure the availability of the material as per the contract and plan for its delivery
to the construction site. However, no material should be delivered to the site before the prior approval of the resident engineer.
4. The contractor shall use dust control measures on site, such as spraying water to prevent dust, organizing access to and from
the construction site, coverage of the trucks transporting waste and construction debris, carting away the waste material to
approved disposal areas, preventing burning objects or/and materials in the open air, maintaining machinery and vehicles in good
working conditions to reduce emissions and the- Vehicles and equipment must be serviced and maintained regularly.
5. The contractor must remove all the construction obstacles including the underground concrete foundation, any type of walls,
buildings, steel structures, etc.
6. Upon the site handover and after the site clearance, the Contractor must allocate the benchmarks and start the setting out of
the buildings in accordance with the drawings and specifications.
7. The contractor must obtain all the mandatory clearances and licenses before the start of the construction activities and plan
