I. OBJECTIVES At the end of the lesson, the students must have:


1. defined what is a clamp-on ammeter;
2. identified the different parts of a clamp-on ammeter;
3. satisfactorily performed the wiring of a given working plan in the wiring board
following the proper procedure;
4. measured the current, voltage, and resistance of the circuit that has been
performed in the wiring board with the use of the clamp-on ammeter following the
proper procedure; and
5. solved the total power consumption of the circuit that has been performed in the
wiring board.
A. Content Standards 1. The learner demonstrates an understanding of the underlying principles in the
installation of standard electrical protection system for lighting and grounding.
2. The learner demonstrates an understanding of the basic concepts and
underlying theories in electrical installation and maintenance.
B. Performance 1. The learner independently installs electrical protection system for lighting and
Standards grounding based on the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) standards and Local
Code/Utility Company Regulations.
2. The learner independently demonstrates the common competencies in electrical
installation and maintenance as prescribed by TESDA Training Regulations.
