Kumar, Dr. Namita Yadav) in the department of Geography who helped me to

prepare the report with specific topics and them I want to express my gratitude

towards my parents who helped me with my project by telling me famous and

important places in Amber.

I express my heartfelt gratitude to God’s infinite kindness and

parents that with their cooperation and blessings I could complete this work.
OBJECT OF STUDY

The purpose of this investigation and report of the voyage is to understand the

natural environment on Earth and the response system of all mankind. The main

objective of field study is to acquaint geography students with the actual

geographical conditions of a field. There are many such information which are

read in books but there is no information available about their real and natural

nature. The purpose of this report is to understand the climate, rainfall, geomorphic

structure etc. of a certain field as well as their impact on human beings.

Relationship has to be studied. The main objective of the report is to study the

lifestyle and occupation of the people living in this particular field.


Chapter 4. Regions selected to study

Balaji Temple, ( Mehandipur, Rajasthan) :

Mehndipur Balaji Temple is a Hindu temple in Mehandipur village of the Dausa

district curable diseases as well1. Millions of people visit the temple yearly.

The temple has three deities who are mainly worshipped – Lord Hanuman (also

known as Balaji), Pret Raj and Bhairav. All these deities are believed to be related

to ghosts and spirits. The legend which follows this temple Speaks of a divine

power and it is believed that the idol which is worshipped here had appeared on its

own. The legend also speaks of divine power which circumambience’s the temple.

It is believed that this power has To ability to cure people who have been affected
by evil spirits and helps them to free from the clutches of Black magic.The temple

has been known for many years, for exorcism from evil spirits attachments and

black magic or Spells3. In 2013, an international team of scientist, scholars and

psychiatrists from Germany, Netherlands, AIIMS, New Delhi, and University of

Delhi started a study to evaluate all aspects of treatment and rituals at the temple.

Moti Doongri Ganesh Temple :

Moti Doongri Ganesh Temple Jaipur is a general term that can refer to two
different temples in the city, both Dedicated to Lord Ganesh, the elephant-headed
god of wisdom and success. They are: Moti Doongri Ganesh Temple: This temple
is located at the bottom of a small hill called Moti Doongri, which means pearl
hill. It was built in 1761 by Seth Jai Ram Paliwal and Mahant Shiv Narain. The
temple is famous for its divine power and attracts millions of devotees every year.
The temple has three domes that represent the three main religions Of India. The
temple also has intricate marble carvings and paintings of mythological scenes.
The temple is Open from 5:30 am to 9:00 pm, except on Wednesdays when it is

open till 11:00 pm.


Birla mandir, Jaipur :
Birla Mandir, Jaipur (Lakshmi Narayan Temple) is a Hindu temple located in
Jaipur, India and is one of many Birla mandirs. It was built by the B.M. Birla
Foundation in 1988 and is constructed solely of white marble. It Is dedicated to the
Hindu goddess and Lakshmi and god Vishnu (Narayan), whose images appear
inside, along With other Hindu gods and goddesses and selections from the Gita
and Upanishads. It is located in Jaipur’s Tilak Nagar neighborhood near Moti
Dungari hill. The temple is made of white marble. There are four distinct Parts of
the temple: its sanctum, tower, main hall, and entrance. It has three towers,
referencing the three main Faiths of India, as well as stained glass windows
depicting traditional Hindu stories. It was

❖ Mohan Lal have two brothers, Kanha Ram and Hanuman Sahi.

❖ The source of income is a government job, Kanha Ram is working as a home guard.

❖ They have a problem of drinking water due to scarcity in the region and they have some

difficulties in accessing government schemes.

Name – Natthuram

❖ Natthuram is 70 years old and act as the head of their family.

❖ They have 2 brothers, Sitaram and Ram dev. They follow Hinduism.

❖ They depend on manual labour and dairy. Their children go to government schools.

❖ They have a problem of drinking water due to scarcity in the region and they have some

difficulties in accessing government schemes and they don’t even have a handpump.
❖ One more problem they discuss is about is the strict rules of the forest department, that

they can’t even make or renovate their houses as they want.

Name – Chandar Lal

❖ There are 16 members in their family, and they act as the head of their family.

❖ Their son Rahul owns 4 jeeps in Amer. His brother Hanuman Gurjar is a Parshad.

❖ They have a problem of drinking water for which they have to go 1.5 km each day for

water for domestic use. There are no handpumps nearby.

❖ They also discuss about the strict rules of the forest department, that they can’t even

make or renovate their houses as they want.

❖ They are 27 years old and runs a juice and ice cream shop, which is their source of

income.

❖ There are 7 members in his family. His brother Mohit Gurjar also helps him in shop.

❖ They have a problem of drinking water due to scarcity in the region and they have some

difficulties in accessing government schemes and they don’t even have a handpump.

Chapter 6. Problems and solutions

Groundwater IssueImplement community-driven water conservation measures.Promote

responsible agricultural practices to reduce water demand. Water Scarcity Introduce

sustainable water supply projects like rainwater harvesting.Explore alternative water sources

and well-digging initiatives. Poor Drainage System Invest in infrastructure for an efficient

in Village Collaborate with educational authorities to establish a village school.Advocate for

community involvement in education initiatives and awareness programs.

Corruption: Taxation IssuesThe requirement to pay taxes based on construction size creates

opportunities for corruption, leading to unfair practices. Forest Conservation:Construction

RestrictionsThe village’s inclusion under forest conservation hampers construction activities,

creating a dilemma between development needs and environmental preservation.Striking a


balance between sustainable development and forest conservation policies is essential to

address this challenge.
