What needs to be done in steri

Is the vac test done?

Has the bowie test been completed?

Was that all recorded on the sterillisation checklist for the autoclave?

Is a damp dust being done in the morning?

Are the benches free from any rubbish?

Fresh towels rolled out each morning on bench ready for instruments

Is all dated and initials being put on all steri bags.

Is each loaded been recorded on the autoclave logs?

Are all rooms clean and fresh from dust and rubbish? – if there is any candy rubbish, food rubbish
this needs to be cleaned up asap. There cant be food consumed in a room that isn’t the staff room.
This is an infection control issue.

If you are done with a patient and steri all up-to-date, do a stock take, get the order sheet ready for
the next order. Go through all the rooms and see what needs to be ordered.
