Job Purpose
Leads and guides the local IT staff in developing and implementing innovative and secure
information systems that meet the needs and expectations of IPD’s customers and stakeholders.
Manages the software development lifecycle, from design and testing to deployment and
maintenance, using the latest technologies and best practices.

Position Specific Requirements


BSc. in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
One year of experience in .NET Core, ASP.NET, C#, MVC, Angular, React, Web API, Entity Framework,
Linq, JS, HTML, CSS, MS SQL, and CRM Dynamic 365.
IIS configurations and maintain Azure listeners and rules in Azure DevOps.
Experience in Azure DevOps.
Strong written communication skills.

Core Responsibilities
 To lead and mentor the local IT staff, ensuring alignment with Australian and Sri Lankan
people leaders; split time equally between technical and team lead requirements.
 To promote a positive and safe team culture and contribute to service delivery and business
performance improvement.
 To provide a communication between local staff and remote managers.
 To liaise with senior management, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure timely and effective
delivery of IT solutions.
 To understand the business and different departments within IPD; network and collaborate
with other engineers and teams.
 To take a hands on approach to IT systems design and implementation in IPD, following
SDLC, DEVSECOPS, and agile methodologies in alignment to the business strategic objectives
and risk appetite and provide guidance and support to IT staff on best practices, tools, and
security.
 To design, develop, test, and install information systems for various IPD projects; determine
operational feasibility and document solutions using Azure DevOps and other tools as
directed.
 To maintain and enhance existing systems and platforms; identify and implement
opportunities for continuous improvement and alignment to best practices.
 To ensure role specific procedures and documentation are current and available on
SharePoint; comply with IPD policies, procedures, practices, and quality systems.
 To assist management with other tasks as required.
