● If multiple persons need to move a heavy object together, determine the

manpower and work division with consideration of height and other
conditions to ensure that the weight is evenly distributed.
● If two persons or more move a heavy object together, ensure that the object
is lifted and landed simultaneously and moved at a uniform pace under the
supervision of one person.
● Wear personal protective gears such as protective gloves and shoes when
manually moving the equipment.
● To move an object by hand, approach the object, squat down, and then lift
the object slowly and stably by the force of the legs instead of your back. Do
not lift it suddenly or turn or twist your body.
● Move or lift the equipment by holding its handles or lower edges. Do not hold
the handles of modules that are installed in the equipment.
● Do not quickly lift a heavy object above your waist. Place the object on a
workbench that is half-waist high or any other appropriate place, adjust the
positions of your palms, and then lift it.

and slippery places. When moving a heavy object through a door, ensure that
the door is wide enough to move the object and avoid bumping or injury.
● When transferring a heavy object, move your feet instead of twisting your
waist. When lifting and transferring a heavy object, ensure that your feet
point to the target direction of movement.
● When transporting the equipment using a forklift truck, ensure that the forks
are properly positioned so that the equipment does not topple. Before moving
the equipment, secure it to the forklift truck using ropes. When moving the
equipment, assign dedicated personnel to take care of it.
● When transporting a cabinet, ensure that its tilt angle meets the requirements
shown in the figure. The tilt angle α of a cabinet with packaging shall be less
than or equal to 15°. After the cabinet is unpacked, its tilt angle α shall be
less than or equal to 10°.

and the cabinet between the uncoated part of the battery cabinet
and the positive and negative terminals of
batteries respectively. If the readings are less than
6 V DC, the insulation is good. Otherwise, contact
technical support engineers.

12 Cover installation All the covers are reinstalled after checks are
performed.

13 Insulation The battery cabinet output cables are intact. The

resistance of output insulation resistance of the positive, negative, and
power cables neutral output cables to the ground and that
between the positive, negative, and neutral output
cables are greater than 2 megohms (using a 500 V
megohm meter).

14 Installation 1. If the equipment will not be powered on after

protection and installation, take dustproof measures (for
storage example, use a dust cover) to prevent
environment equipment damage due to dust buildup inside
it. Remove the dust cover only when the
equipment is ready for operation.
2. After the installation is complete, take anti-
condensation measures and keep the air
conditioner running. Do not store the
equipment in an environment where the
temperature and humidity are uncontrollable
for a long period of time. Otherwise, the
equipment may be damaged due to
condensation.

NOTICE

Do not remove the dust cover during construction or before the device is powered
on. Remove the cover only when the device is ready for operation. Otherwise,
device faults may occur.

CAUTION

During the power-on procedure, power off the battery cabinet immediately if any
fault is detected. Locate the cause and rectify the fault before proceeding with the
procedure.

CAUTION

Fully charge batteries (the SOC must reach 100%) when using them for the first
time. Replace a battery only if it is faulty. If you do not perform operations as
required, the battery level may be inconsistent, resulting in a long charging time.
For example, it would take two weeks to fully charge the half-charge batteries
and full-charge batteries that are used together.

NOTICE

The capacity of each battery varies after long-term storage. Therefore, you are
advised to reserve at least three days for charging the batteries for the first power-
on.

8.10 How Do I Power Off the SmartLi in Emergency?

NOTICE

● Trigger the EPO of a SmartLi if each SmartLi in the parallel system is equipped
with an EPO switch: The circuit breaker of the SmartLi where EPO is triggered is
switched off, and the SmartLi has no output. The circuit breakers of other
SmartLi do not react and work as usual. The normal power supply of the UPS is
not affected and runs properly.
● Trigger the EPO (EPO is enabled on the UPS monitoring screen) of the UPS if
the UPS communicates with the SmartLi: The UPS shuts down in emergency
and does not supply power. All corresponding SmartLi circuit breakers are
switched off, and the SmartLi system stops charging and discharging.
● Trigger the EPO (EPO is enabled on the UPS monitoring screen) of the UPS if
the UPS does not communicate with the SmartLi: The UPS shuts down in
emergency and does not supply power. The SmartLi circuit breakers do not
react and work as usual.
● After EPO is triggered, the system reports a Battery cabinet EPO alarm.

Press the external switch connected to the EPO port or remove the 4-pin terminal
from the EPO port.

8.11 How Do I Restore the SmartLi After Powering It in

Emergency?
Step 1 Clear the EPO state and ensure that the external EPO switch connected to the
EPO port is not in the EPO state.

Step 2 On the LCD screen, choose System Status > Alarms > Clear Faults. In the
displayed dialog box, tap Yes. The EPO alarm is cleared successfully.

Step 3 View active alarms and ensure that the Battery cabinet EPO alarm has
