What will you be doing?

• Developing Java/C# projects defined by business requirements to meet the needs of

our clients/desks to provide high-performance, stable, and feature rich trading
services
• Working closely with different teams including business, global development team,
regional support/QA team to make sure we deliver the right things in a timely
manner
• Interacting with both senior Front Office Trading and Sales stakeholders at the
Director and Managing Director level across multiple regions
• Effectively understanding requirements from stakeholders
• Proactively participating in ongoing product enhancement discussions with
stakeholders and providing informed inputs to help shape and evolve those
discussions
• Interacting with senior IT based Director and Managing Director level leadership
functions for discussions on the project, the product, ongoing work

What we’re looking for:

• Five+ years of in-depth JAVA or C# experience, programming skills with good unit
testing practices
• Excellent experience of developing low-latency trading systems and performance
tuning techniques on Linux
• Understanding of higher-level Computer Science concepts such as data structures
and algorithms
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
Skills that will help you in the role:

• Proven experience in working in the Investment banking, working with directly with
Traders and Desk Heads
• Advanced expertise in computer networks, computer architecture, and operating
systems
• Agile software development methodology
• Good scripting skills using Python, Perl or similar

Our offices are situated in the center of Hong Kong’s financial district, at 2 Queen’s
Road. Cheung Kong Centre is an investment banking hub that offers panoramic views of
Victoria Harbour and Kowloon Peninsula. There is a variety of local amenities and you will be
