HOT TAPPING a specialized service

offered by us enables the pipeline owner to
take a new branch connection from the
existing pipeline, vessel or a tank, which is
in service and under pressure. We use a
specially designed Hot tapping machines, a
full bore valve and either a nozzle pad fitting
or a full encirclement fitting (Split tee).
Tapping machine uses a specially designed
cylindrical cutter, attached to a telescopic
boring bar, driven by a hydraulic motor
coupled to a precisely designed gear
box. Our Specialized equipments are capable
of executing
 Hot Tapping on Steel Pipelines for branch connections & Line Stops
 Lateral Hot Tap (Angle Hot Tap) on Steel Pipelines for brach connections
 Hot Tapping on Shells & Vessels (Tank Hot) to create new out lets on a tank/Vessel
in service
 Drilling on Steel Pipelines & Vessels for Insertion of measurement probes
We can tap from ½” to 48, at any pressure ranging from vacuum to 110 Bar, at any
temperature unto 350 Degree.

LINE STOPPING or Line Plugging

is a specialised service designed for
Repair, Modification, and
replacement of a Pipeline without
shutting down the flow. This
Procedure requires In-Service
Welding & Hot Tapping as primary
operations, which is followed by
insertion of plugging head with a
sealing element into either ends of
the pipeline intended for
repair/replacement.
This procedure usually

requires a bypass connection
to ensure that the fluid
continues to flow in pipeline
through the temporary
bypass until the
repair/modification work on
mainline is complete.
With our specialised,
precisely designed
equipment set up, we can
perform a Line Stopple Operation on pipelines ranging from 6” to 48”, at any
pressure ranging from vacuum to 110 Bar, at any temperature unto 350 Degree.

COLD CUTTING & BEVELLING

is one more specialized service that
we offer to cut the pipelines, which are
taken off service. We use a specially
designed Split Frame Cutting
machine mounted on outer wall of the
pipeline, with a specially designed
High Speed Steel Carbide tipped tool
that rotates around the pipeline.
Automatically driven feed screw
advances the tool for a minute depth
over every rotation, thus avoiding
frictional spark during the cutting
operation.
Cold Cutting Operation is an essential

part of Pipeline replacement works
though Hot Tapping & Line Stopple
method. After performing the Line Stop
Operation, Eventhough the Pipeline to
be replaced/modified is free from
hydrocarbons, Due to the presence of
traces of Hydrocarbons on the inner
wall of the pipeline and due to presence
of fumes, The Pipeline is not feasible for
Cutting & Grinding operations using
conventional methods.
Our Specialized equiipments & team of experienced operators ensure Spark free
cutting & Beveling which eliminates the fire hazards.

HORIZONTAL DIRECTIONAL DRILLING is a Trench less method of installing

underground pipeline Utilities using a surface-launched drilling rig. Directional
Boring/HDD offers significant environmental advantages over traditional method
of cut and cover pipeline installations. This technique is generally used when
conventional trenching or excavating is not practical or when minimal surface
disturbance is required, Such as Laying a Pipeline across a river, Railway Track,
Road Crossing, Freight Corridors, Runways etc.
We are well equipped with Drilling rigs that can drill through Soft Soil, Hard Soil,
and Sandy Soil & Hard Rock, which makes us competent to execute Trench Less
Crossings for laying of Pipelines from 6 Inch Up to 36 Inch under any geographical
Conditions.

of Split Tee/Stopple Tees/Pipe Repair
Sleeves on a Pipeline intended for Hot
Tapping, Line Stopple or rehabilitation
which is in service and is under pressure.

PIPELINE REPAIR SLEEVES are used to rehabilitate the pipeline, when it is

not possible to repair/replace the pipelines through Line Stop method. Pipe repair
sleeves are placed on the pipelines in two halves and welded to become a
permanent part of the pipeline covering the damaged section of it. This operation
also requires high precision and special care as we are operating on the weakest
section of the pipeline.
 We manufacture and weld repair sleeves starting from 6” to 48” of different

thickness and material to suit the mainline.

All our line Stop fittings are made with a specially designed CAM PLUG, to endure NO
LEAK PATH installation of completion plugs during Line Stop operations.
All Our Pipeline Repair Sleeves are made with OR without Girth Weld Provision as per
customer requirements.
