Bureaucratic Theory: Bureaucratic theorists suggest that public administrators should adhere to well-defined roles and hierarchical structures. New Public Management Theory: Public administrators influenced by this theory can manage work pressure by emphasizing performance management and accountability. Setting clear performance targets, monitoring progress, and implementing result-oriented measures can help administrators stay focused and prioritize tasks effectively. Transformational Leadership Theory: Administrators applying the principles of transformational leadership can manage work pressure by inspiring and motivating their teams. According to our analysis public administrators should benefit from developing a balanced approach that combines organizational strategies with personal resilience-building techniques to counter pressure.
