Following table gives weekly sales (in $) for four different brands.

Brand A Brand B Brand C Brand D

114 116 116 110
111 118 115 117
110 114 108 121
113 115 114 123
20 113 100 150

1. Calculate Arithmetic mean, Range, Variance, Standard deviation and Coefficient of

Variation for each brand and determine which brand gives more consistent sales.

LET K1= MEAN(C1)
LET K2= RANGE(C1)
LET K3= SUM((C1-K1)**2)/(COUNT(C1))
LET K4= SQRT(K3)
LET K5= (K4/K1)*100
NAME K1 'Arithmetic Mean'
NAME K2 'Range'
NAME K3 'Variance'
NAME K4 'Standard Deviation'
NAME K5 'Coefficient of Variation'

Statistical Measure Brand A Brand B Brand C Brand D

Arithmetic mean 93.6000 115.200 110.600 124.200
Range 94.0000 5.00000 16.0000 40.0000
Variance 1356.24 2.96000 35.8400 186.160
Standard deviation 36.8272 1.72047 5.98665 13.6440
Coefficient of Variation 39.3453 1.49346 5.41289 10.9855

Conclusion:
