TOPIC: FACTORS AND MULTIPLES(work sheet 1)

Factors :- The numbers which divides the given number exactly.

Multiples:- The numbers which are multiplied by the other number to get specific numbers.

Prime number:- A number which has exactly two factors i.e., '1' and the number itself.
Composite number:- A number which has more than two factors.
Unique number: 1 has only one factor. So, it is called unique number.
DIVISIBILITY TEST RULES: -
a) Divisibility by 2: All even numbers are divisible by 2.
b) Divisibility by 3: Sum of all the digits of the given number should be divisible by 3.
c) Divisibility by 5: Numbers ending with 5 or 0 are divisible by 5.
d) Divisibility by 10: Numbers ending with 0 are divisible by 10.
COMMON FACTORS AND COMMON MULTIPLES
A common factor is a whole number which is a factor of two or more numbers.
A common multiple is a number that comes in the multiplication table of more than two numbers.
