Ohm’s Law
Understanding V, I, and R
• Current (I): It is the rate at which charge is flowing.

• Voltage (V): It is the difference in charge between two points.

• Resistance (R): It is a material's tendency to resist the flow of charge

(current).
Relationship between V, I, and R
Ohm’s Law
• Ohms law states that the electric current flowing through a
conductor is directly proportional to the voltage and inversely
proportional to its resistance.

VI V

• So, the relationship between the three can be written as:

V= IR
