B.) Is this study descriptive or inferential? Explain your answer

Answer: Descriptive because it shows a variability of dataset and give the average for each

response and shows the spread or dispersion of your dataset.

C.) What are the variables used in the study? In your opinion, what level of measurement was

used to obtain the data from the variables?

Answer: The variables use in the study are the main variable and moderate variable. In the main

variable these are the following frustration, conflicts, pressure, changes and self-imposed and for

the moderate variable are age, sex and year level. The main variable indicates the stressors and

the moderator variable indicate profile of the respondents. The level of measurement is ordinal

because a kind of categorical data with a set order or scale to collect responders.

D.) Does the study define the population? If so, how is it defined? If not, how could it be defined?

Answer: Yes, because it defined how to responds criminology students manifested when analyzed

by age, gender and year level in terms of conflicts and changes.


E.) Does the study state the sample size and how the sample was obtained? If so, determine the

size of the sample and explain how it was selected. If not, suggest away it could have been

obtained.

Answer: The respondents of this study were three hundred (300) selected criminology students of

the University of Mindanao the researchers used propusive sampling method since only selected

criminology students of UM were the respondents of the study.

F.) Explain in your own words what procedure (survey, comparison of groups, etc.) might have

been used to determine the study’s conclusions.

Answer: The procedure is they utilized a downloaded questionnaire from the internet which was

modified to fit into the study. The survey questionnaire was divided into two parts the first part was

the profiles of the respondents while the second part were questions pertaining to the stressors

among criminology students in the University of Mindanao.

G.) Do you agree or disagree with the conclusions? State your reasons.

Answer: I agreed with their conclusion because they may help students who are under stress,

particularly in their studies by giving advices, and at the same time teach them to practice time

management in order not to feel pressure during their studies.
