Edgar Degas and his painting

Edgar Degas was an important artist of impressionism, but he was different from the
other ones. He painted a lot of detail in his art different from the impressionism. He also
liked painting more indoors paint than outside ones. He did paint of the people of Paris
doing what they do in a normal life different to painting were the muse was posing. He
love catch moving, so he draw poses.
He considered his art as realism but he let himself be influenced by impressionism when
this start growing. He also had been by other things like photography and Japanese’s
stamps. He was obsessed with the ballet and he demonstrated that in a lot of his
painting. He painted ballerinas taking reference of the Japanese’s stamps. Before he got
the style he had in almost all his painting he was in the classic academy. Edgar was a
great artist and he knew what he wanted to draw.
