“Why Teaching is Difficult?”

I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson students are expected to:

 Define Peace Education;


 The main reason for peace education is reported; and
 Appreciate that teaching of peace education.

Motivation: The teacher will give a scenario to the students. Students will give
the solution of the problem of the scenario.

Peace education

 the process of unleashing the knowledge, skills, behaviors, and


values necessary to effect behavior change that will allow children,
youth, and adults to avoid conflict and violence, both overt and
structural.
 The two types of peace or peace are the negative and positive peace.
Teaching skills and methods are acquired by practicing and
observing.
Main purpose
 Aims to help students acquire skills for nonviolent conflict resolution and to reinforce these
skills for active and responsible action in the society for the promotion of the values of peace.

Activity
The class will be divided into two groups.
Direction: On a manila paper write the reasons for peace education and causes of it. Only
10 minutes will be given to accomplish the activity.
CRITERIA:
Relevance of the study - 15pts
Presentation - 10 pts
Cooperation - 5pts
Total 30points

 They will make a skit on how a teacher handled trouble in a classroom.


 They will be given five minutes to prepare and five minutes to present.
