■ I made google sheet (kind of excel) of past year questions of mains topic
wise, helped me know exactly kya pooch rha in topics se, general nature
of questions
■ Extensively used digital platforms as much as possible

NOTES MAKING
● Few universal facts
○ Your notes = Your mains answers
○ Your notes = Your efficiency during revision
○ Your notes = Your success in CGPSC

4
● CG GS ke notes I didn’t make, naa hi main recommend karunga, HRP more than
enough, save time
● Thumb rule : kisi bhi topic ka notes , ek A4 page se zyada agar aap bana rahe ho matlab
kuch dikkat hain.
● Keep it short, relevant, address syllabus keywords
● Notes are going to be the greatest weapon during those 4 brutal days of mains, be Wise
and super smart.

CURRENT AFFAIRS Selection

● Can be used in egov, use of ICT, suggestions for improving cleanliness in CG

5
● Prelims point of view, gulab, naming, areas

6
● Essay naxalism

7
● Prelims/one day exams

● Tourism in CG “aamcho bastar sundar bastar”

8
● Prelims point of view

9
● Paper 7 Part 2, olympics essay inCG context, hobby interview

ANSWER WRITING
● This is an art
● My general strategy
○ Point wise answers
○ Address demand of questions
○ See keywords eg provision of scheme and significance of scheme have 2
different answers
■ Eg suposhan abhiyan
○ Graphical answers > bare texts, pie chart, graph, flow diagrams must
○ Add current affairs in first and last lines
○ If you have enough content deal with the question in entire space, you can skip
intro and conclusions
■ Eg problems of rural women
○ Be smart, sab kuch aapke notes main nahi rahega
■ Eg use of neem as biopesticide
○ Kuch bakwas nahi karni hain, jo pucha hain vo batana hain
○ Paper jitna neat and systematic hoga, utne shandaar number ayenge

10
● Structure
○ Subheading are everything, Rank 1 ka big part hain subheadings
○ Revolts : leader, cause, immediate cause, coarse, result, significance
○ Impact : Political, social, economical, legal/constitutional, ethical, etc
○ Scheme : punchline, launch, aim, beneficiary, provisions, latest data
○ Explain diagrams on board : 2M, 4M, maps, 15 marks, big maps, ek se anek box
● Practice
○ Mains answer sheet is A4 in size, not landscape
○ Dasta paper or loose sheets
○ Follow this
■ 2M : 4 lines
■ 4M : 7 lines
■ 8M : 14 lines
■ 10M : 15 lines
■ 15M : 17-19 lines
● Speed : covered every paper 20 minutes before
○ Only follow past year questions as your reference
○ Get reviewed by faculties
○ Strategy and notes ko test series main test karo, you will understand what you
are going to achieve
○ Topping a test series does not mean you are going to top cgpsc, but not topping
definitely means you are not going to top cgpsc

PRELIMS
● Crack Pattern
● Don’t focus on coaching test series my first attempt mistake
● Only take past year papers as your reference
● Focus on easy portions
○ Current affairs
○ Environment
○ Indian geography : census, tribes, institutes
○ Philosophy
○ Polity
○ CG GS
● Don’t overstress on Indian History
● Try to maximise attempt
● Do everything sam, daam, dand, bhed to get score
● Prelims crack nahi hona maybe lack of luck, mains crack na hona is pure lack of skill in
CGPSC
● Focus on mains, prelims apne aap hoga
● Adapt, overcome, improvise

11
