Diagnostic
Framework

INTRODUCTION

To access the diagnostic framework, which is the starting point for running any diagnostic tests, a
user must be assigned the Application Diagnostics Administrator role. If not assigned, the user can’t
view the Run Diagnostics Tests link from the Settings and Actions menu in the global header.

ACCESSING THE DIAGNOSTIC FRAMEW ORK


In this screenshot, the logged in user doesn’t have access to the diagnostic framework.

To enable users to access the framework, do these steps:

1. Log in as a user having access to the Security Console.

2. From the User Accounts tab, search for the user who doesn’t currently have access to the diagnostics framework. Then, click
User Login link of the user.

3. Click Edit to edit the User Account Details and add the required role for the user.

4. Click Add Role and search for the Application Diagnostics Administrator role. Then, click Add Role Membership to add this
role for the user.

5. Click Save and Close. Log in as the user who didn’t initially have access to the diagnostic framework and confirm that the
user now has the appropriate access.

6. Click Run Diagnostics Tests to access the Diagnostic Framework dashboard.
