m2t Files Into Native NLE Formats

Step 1: Connect the removable hard drive to your computer using the included USB-Y cable. Recorded
raw files on the hard drive will appear as shown below.

Step 2: Rename the first file, “hdv01.m2t” to “hdv01_00.m2t.

NOTE: Streamclip will not recognize it as the first file in the sequence unless it is renamed as shown below:

Step 3: Create a new folder on your computer. This is the destination folder where your combined files
will be saved in.

Step 4: Open MPEG Streamclip.
NOTE: If you do not have MPEG Streamclip program installed on your computer, please go to http://www.squared5.com
to download the program for free.

Step 5: Start a new “Batch List”.

Step 6: Select the files that you want to batch. In this example, we are selecting all of the track 1 files.

Step 7: Select the Compression type as shown below:

Step 8: Make sure the sequence is set as shown below:

Step 9: Select the destination folder that you have created in step 3 as shown below:

Step 10: Begin the conversion process:
