The alphabet
The Georgian scripts are the three writing systems
used to write the Georgian language: Asomtavruli,
Nuskhuri and Mkhedruli. Although the systems differ
in appearance, their letters share the same names
and alphabetical order and are written horizontally
from left to right. Of the three scripts, Mkhedruli,
once the civilian royal script of the Kingdom of
Georgia and mostly used for the royal charters, is
now the standard script for modern Georgian and its
related Kartvelian languages, whereas Asomtavruli
and Nuskhuri are used only by the Georgian
Orthodox Church, in ceremonial religious texts and
iconography.[2]Georgian
Culture ◦ Georgian culture and traditions"Tradition does not only
mean that one generation blindly and faithfully imitates
the previous generation. Tradition, first of all, implies the
feeling of history, when the past should be perceived
not only as the past, but also as modernity..." - unknown
author Georgia is a state with a great history and
culture, and if we extend the above phrase, it is the
country where you can fully feel the duration and
importance of its history. It is the oldest and richest
country with thousands of years of history, traditions and
culture, which you will probably agree is very important
and proud. Every year, many tourists visit it to share its
culture and learn something new about a country that,
despite the greatest historical trials over the millennia,
has still maintained its serenity and importance.
Georgian folk music and dance
◦ Georgian folk dance and music is the greatest wealth that distinguishes
Georgia from other countries with its originality and culture. Its essence
originates from the depths of millennia. When they discuss the specialness of
Georgian dance and its importance, they single out one of the most
important components of artistry - male plasticity and mimicry. This is a
dance that fully represents the true Georgian character and spirit. The
hunting dance, Ferkhuli, performed in honor of the god of fertility, "Shuspa", is
considered to be the historical predecessor of folk choreography. Georgian
dances are the greatest wealth that has improved and developed over the
years, and today our country is known by the whole world. As for music,
Russian musicologist V. Belyaev explains it like this - "The main feature of
Georgian folk music art is the presence of original, delicately processed
choral polyphony, which is also used in church music." Georgian folk songs
have been characterized by polyphony since time immemorial. Every
corner has its own musical dialect, the number of which ranges up to 15.

table. The structure of the table is a harmonious mixture of
delicious food, wine, toasts and dance/music. Georgians are

there is a kind of expression - "Georgian table is a kind of
