INTRODUCTION
Being a leader is harder than it sounds. It takes a lot of work and perseverance on our part
to earn the title and become well-known in our nation and around the world. The person that i
look up is Vivy Yusof who is one of the best entreprenuer and co-founder . Despite ups and
downs, Datin Vivy Yusof is recognised throughout the world as the Malaysian business
person and co-founder of the brands Fashion Valet and DuCK Group. Vivy Sofinas Binti
Yusof is the given name of a 35 years old woman who has already established herself as
one of the world's leading businesswomen. All the necessities, including face masks and
tumblers, are offered by Brand Fashion Valet and DuCK Group in a range of styles. All the
products match the price as the qualities satisfy the criteria of the function.
I admire Vivys' traits because they show that she is a straight forward individual who is very
determined. Despite this, Vivys is always considerate of those around her and has a positive
attitude when making decisions. She truly took her academics seriously, which is why she
has always been intelligent. She was aware of her preferences and her areas of
enthusiasm.I also chosen Vivy Yusof as a my idol because she really inspired me with her
success, her ups and downs raising the name of the business. I assume I am not the only
one who has idolized her, but surely many out there admire her hard work in every single
thing she does. Vivy Yusof’s background can be an inspiration to many people out there.
Besides that, the reason why I choose Vivy as my idol because of her effort on business
even she work together with her husband. They colaborate to build their own online website
since 24years old. They took their own experience form Zara and Topsop at England. Now
the interest is utilized through the process of selling fashion clothing and local accessories
by famous designers which is MimpiKita, Rizman Ruzaini and etc. Vivy's spirit is too brave
when the reception is unexpectedly due to its nearly sixth month getting a welcome
response.

PERSONAL BACKGROUND
Datin Vivy Sofinas Binti Yusof was born in Kajang, Selangor, Malaysia, on December 11,
1987. Intan Sofinas Yusof, the sole sibling she has, is the only member of her family.
Flowers and chocolate are not her favourite things because she may be allergic to them.
She also doesn't eat any vegetables at all. She married Dato Fadzarudin Shah Anuar in
2012, and in that same year, they triumphed in the reality TV competition series Make The
Pitch. She is also a mother of four of their children named Daniel Azim Shah, Mariam Iman
Shah, Sarah Ilham Shah and her newborn baby welcomed into the world on Monday
morning on 22nd November 2021 named Idris Alishah. She is also a good daughter to her
parents. She claimed that while she is aware of her wealthy family's financial position, she
does not want to depend on it indefinitely. As a result, when she launched her own company,
she refused to accept any funding from her father out of a desire to work hard and repay
another parent who raised her without teaching her about their ups and downs.
She is one of Malaysia's most well-known female businesswomen, particularly among
Malay people . Datin Vivy Yusof is the co-founder of e-commerce retail company
FashionValet and fashion label The dUCk Group, a lifestyle brand that sells scarves,
cosmetics, stationery, bags, and home & living. She is also well-known for her blog posts on
the website ProduckDuck about her life and entrepreneurial path. Her passion for blogging
and vlogging on her own YouTube channel has helped her gain millions of fans as a social
media icon. Her own reality TV show, Love, Vivy, featured her as the lead. Her accolades
include the Young Entrepreneur Award from Tribute To Women Malaysia and the Bella
Business Award from 2013. As a top entrepreneur, she has also been mentioned in a lot of
magazine lists.

EDUCATION BACKGROUND
Many people could get inspiration from Vivy Yusof's background. She began her early
education at Islamic kindergarten. Following that, she spent six more years in school at
Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Damansara before finishing her education at Sekolah Seri Puteri
and Sekolah Sri Cempaka. She made the decision to simultaneously study A-Levels in the
UK and SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) before finishing SPM (United Kingdom). She left
Form 5 early since she didn't want to squander time before the September intake. She flew
once more to take the A-Level test after returning home to take the SPM in November.
Having to take two difficult tests is a really memorable event. But she freely acknowledges
that she won't repeat the action. However, all the difficulties were over and she was very
relieved when she obtained gred A for all subjects for both exams. She also has a Bachelor
of Laws degree from the London School of Economics (LSE), she is keen on organizing
business strategy.

PRIOR OCCUPATIONS
She started blogging in 2010 where she first gained her fanbase. Her following now
includes 1.8 million followers on her verified Instagram account and 247k subscribers on her
YouTube channel that she launched in 2017.
In addition, Vivy Yusof was appointed by the Ministry of Education as a Board Member of
Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) in 2019, and Dato' Vivy was honoured to accept the
position. Despite the fact that she has any prior board of directors experience, she has
already made the decision to put new policies into place that would advance and improve
the education industry. The choice of a legendary figure from the fashion world is an
excellent way to motivate students and former participants to lead better lives. However, the
first step is frequently the most difficult, as the saying goes. She has faced various
opponents who have challenged her in performing her duties as a board member because
she is not a UITM graduate. Despite what some may think, Dato Vivy Yusof was still able to
overcome it because she didn't give up easy and had the moral support of her family,
friends, and other board members. And, rather than focusing on the negative feedback, she
also has the goal of managing the student welfare and entrepreneurship totally. Dato Vivy
Yusof's contract with the institution expired in 2020 after serving as a member of the board
of directors for a year.

EXPERIENCES
The experience that Vivy had faced with her husband when started up Fashion Valet was
the lack of capital. Having so many rival companies nearby made it actually quite difficult to
manage a firm. They actually delayed taking pay till the business was stable. In addition,
many conservative people did not think that South East Asia had a significant potential for e-
commerce. They had to fork over RM 100k each month. The office and warehouse needed
renovations, or they had already rented one, so they had to rent a stock. They were able to
lighten the weight thanks to the renting of the stock. The remainder, while not much, of the
RM 100K is then spent on marketing. Even Fashion Valet became more stable, success and
growing well but it still have some negative comments. People always think that Fashion
Valet is ‘’luxurious’’ and ‘’expensive’’. But in fact, Fashion Valet had cooperated with
Malaysian homegrown designers, so naturally the price will be higher than other online retail
site. It can easily find out when of their customer shared their ‘ootd’ today with Fashion
Valet’s product on their social media apps, there must have someone who will leave the
irony comment like ‘wow you bought from Fashion Valet?’. In Vivy’s opinion, she think that it
is a good thing when people come up the idea that their product are expensive. It is because
she had found their niche when this kind of comment come out, it clearly had differentiate
them with their competitor. They also found out that their targeting customer who is more
premium.
At the age of nine, she used her creative writing abilities to launch her first business. She
wrote a book that she charged her friends 50 cents to borrow. She has shown some
business savvy in a small role. We may conclude that Vivy is quite creative and continuously
comes up with new ideas from this. She cherished reading a wide variety of books and
writing in several genres.
In 2020, she and her husband organised three fund-raising events to help frontliners in
Malaysia fight the Covid-19 pandemic, securing a total of RM2.1 million. In line with their
mission to support local businesses, the couple also established a platform for F&B vendors
to promote their enterprises during the pandemic.

the next market that Fashion Valet is targeting for expansion, but this is a competitive and

The name they chose for their enterprise ‘FashionValet ‘ was a symbol of this balance, the
yin and yang in the partnership; F for Fadza and V for Vivy. Together, they are the power
couple of fashion retail who, for the last eight years, have pushed Malaysian fashion to the
fore and focus the attention on local talents like never before.
The success of FashionValet enabled the establishment of dUCK. The dUCK Group was
started on May 5, 2014, in Malaysia. The fondness for stylish scarves was the inspiration for
the creation of dUCk. dUCk aims to convey the notion that wearing scarves should be a
cherished act among women, whether or not they are Muslim, with the modern city girl in
mind. The dUCk brand is based on a character by the name of D, and the development of
dUCk is closely related to Datin Vivy’s life and illustrated experiences. The dUCK team takes
great pride in being acknowledged as being different from the competition due to its
