We write this letter intending to submit our research manuscript entitled "
Optimized Supply Chain of Empty Fruit Bunches as Feedstocks for Second
Generation Bioethanol Production" for consideration for publication in the Journal of
Case Studies in Chemical and Environmental Engineering.
This manuscript aims to provide an optimization model of industrial scale,
specifically at selected location for bioethanol from empty fruit bunch production.
Furthermore, the output of the study will give an insight into which scenario of supply
chain is more efficient and how feasible it is for the company to execute the plan in terms
of engineering economics.
The result of this study aligns with the academic standards and goals espoused
by the Journal of Case Studies in Chemical and Environmental Engineering. We hope our
manuscript can be considered for publication in the Journal of Case Studies in Chemical
and Environmental Engineering so that it can enrich scientific discourse and make a
