Performance Standard: Ang mga mag-aaral ay nakapagpapamalas ng pagmamalaki at


kasiyahang makapagkwento ng sariling karanasan bilang
kabahagi ng pamilya, paaralan at komunidad.

Learning Competencies: 1. Natutukoy ang iba’t-ibang lugar sa komunidad.

2. Add quantities up to 10. (MKAT-00-8)
3. Describe objects based on attributes/properties (shapes,
size, its use and functions).( MKSC-00-4)

4. Sort and classify objects according to one

● Present the hospital as the focus of the discussion.

 Teacher-Supervised Activity Title: Trip to Clinic


Activity
Objective/s: To show and talk about the people in the
community that provide health care and the things they use.
Procedure:

Preliminaries to do by the Teacher Intern:

● Ask permission to the school nurse or school


principal. Write and send a letter if needed before
visiting the school clinic.

1. Children can learn about the doctors, nurses, dentists,


what their function as well as details about how they
serve people in the community by showing the learners
what health center or hospital looks like.
2. During the clinic visit, show the equipment and tools
used by doctors and nurses.

After visiting the school clinic,
1. Ask the learners to name the people who take care of
people who gets sick.
2. Ask about the things used by these healthcare
providers/workers.
Let the learners share about their experiences when visiting a
health center, hospital, dental clinic, etc.

Activity Title: NEWS: North, East, West, South


Objective/s: Identify the places according to its location.
Procedure:

 Using the given worksheet, the learners must complete


the sentences with correct directions.

 Guided Activity
Activity Title: Doctor Tools or not?
Objective/s: To name and classify the tools used by doctors or
nurses.
Procedure:

 Using the given worksheet, the learners must classify the


tools used by doctors or nurses to help sick people get
better.

Meeting Time 2  Review the lesson in adding quantities up to 10.


 Then, gradually introduce adding quantities up to 20
using the pupils.

there are 5 pupils standing on the east side, how many pupils are
